In line with the central hunting commission, at Kartepe district in general, the hunting period begin at the 8th month of the year and continues until the 2nd month of the subsequent year.

Regional Hunts:
As game of the 1st group; quail and turtledove hunting starts on the 14th day of the 8th month and continues until the 23rd of the next year's first month.
The 2nd group of game are; wild boar and weasel and starts on the 14th day of the 8th month and continues until the 27th of the 2nd month of the next year.
 
Additionally, wild duck and woodcock hunting are practiced. In order to hunt, it is necessary to be a member of hunting associations and have a hunting certificate and hunting papers.
